At an early age, Rob recognized that the human being is much more than a physical body. This led to an immersion in the study and application of spirituality, metaphysics, ancient & alternative knowledge systems, and the healing arts. Coupled with his ongoing clinical training, Rob is well positioned to bring helpful knowledge, exercises, and tools into counselling sessions.

Rob knows that healing is very possible, having spent years working through his own struggles with anxiety, self-acceptance, addiction, loss, and loneliness. He honours the courage it takes to push through life’s difficulties, to go within, to face fears, to feel fully, and to engage the ego self. Rob is aware that life isn’t happening to us, it’s happening for us. It has been the most challenging situations that have facilitated greater knowing, increased self-compassion, and resilience. 

Rob's choice to counsel was instigated by a deep desire to connect with and serve his human family. He believes all clients are doing the absolute best they can at any given time and aims to provide a radically accepting space where clients are seen, heard, and validated.
